I'm looking for a street team! But I’d rather think of it as building a community of book lovers, reviewers, and influencers who want to be part of something fun, supportive, and just a little bit wicked (okay, maybe a lot), and help spread the word about my books.

WHAT’S A STREET TEAM? (I HAD THE SAME QUESTION)

Honestly, I found out it’s an unnecessarily intimidating name for a group of passionate friends and readers who help get my books into the hands of people who would love them! That can manifest by:

  • Posting about my book(s) on social media, or commenting on and sharing my posts on social media.

  • Adding my books to your Goodreads TBR and wishlists.

  • Reviewing my books after you've read them on Amazon, Goodreads, Barnes & Noble, and/or your other reading trackers.

  • Asking your local library and bookstores to order copies.

  • Recommending my books for your next book club.

  • Helping me brainstorm clever marketing ideas! Social media can be hard, and I want us to have fun.

HMM. SOUNDS LIKE A COMMITMENT—DO I HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING?

Nah. Pick what works for you! It’s community first for me. I’d rather find a new friend who loves my books, loves this community, and who naturally wants to support me and others there!

I want this to be easy and fun for both of us! I’ll provide ready-made copy and graphics, so posting is simple, especially around big moments like pre-orders, launch announcements, cover reveals, etc. And as always, I’d love to support your creativity!

What I ask:

  • Create content about my book(s) 2 times a month, in whatever format you like, on whatever platforms you're comfortable with.

  • Join in on the bigger campaigns, when we come together to post, amplify, comment, and share as a group.
